This week I have working with found metal which I took from Steve’s scrap metal in Metalwork. I have enjoyed using materials that have a real physical weight to them.
One of the things I took from Steve was a sheet of Copper. It had a layer of black coating over it all which I sanded down for half the sheet (it took a while). I was also extremely flexible.

You’ve begun to interact with the room you are working in, and this is a really exciting idea for me. You could even consider making work in response to the whole building you are working in!
